Re:Judging the winners - 2006/05/06 13:26 of course i didn't go around the city in 21 minutes.

but i did RIDE around the city and SKIP some locations and use the NET for a lot of the questions the first time i did it - and took about 1.5 hours. (there was some sms lag, 'cause supposedly "the system" can't handle anything over 1 person doing the comp at any one time.)

1.5 hours. RIDING. you CANNOT get faster than that on first go. no other method of transport is faster. that's why the second last question of some woman tailing me threw me right out - i knew it was complete crap.

but obviously i put a lot of of work into examining each location and taking photographs, organising all the information present at each location and researching as much as i could about friggin tom cruise on the net. and what did it get me? some fanboy stuff to flog on ebay. i hope i can recoup my sms costs.

i enjoyed the comp, but was misled by ambiguous wording into believing that the fastest time overall would win.

in the end it came down to having enough money to fly to other states and doing it again there...

Re:Judging the winners - 2006/05/06 20:08 in my case, by car in Hobart was the fastest method over foot or bike, given the diverse locations that had to be visited.

I found the yourmission site via a listing at the competitions web site at

Re:Judging the winners - 2006/05/10 17:47 EXCELLENT sp1d3r !!!
You deserved to win, I never even thought about taking photos.
Personally although it would have been great to win it was great fun doing this treasure hunt. I can't wait for the next one and will definitely be participating with as much gusto as the last one.

Anyone know what the winning catchphrase was ???
