Register your name, mobile number, and details at TheGlobalGame.net. The only requirement for your mission is that your mobile device can access the Web to send and receive messages. Clues and answers are sent and recieved by the Web Interface at The Global Game Web Interface. You will typically send around 25 messages in order to complete each mission.

In basic terms, each game is a simple Treasure Hunt or Clue Chase. We provide you with a course to travel around, a starting point, a starting clue which, on LOCATION GAMES can only be answered at the starting point, a finishing point and an elapsed time that you spend on the course, then allocate points which will give you increasing Status on the Leaderboards and qualify you for more challenging games.

You can play as a team, a family group, or groups playing against your friends or other groups at the same time. Every player or group of player's mission is unique (the system has an inbuilt Randomiser, which means you won't all get the same clues.

If you have registered on the site and want to check that your mobile phone is mission ready, simply send the word TEST to the Mission Control using the Web Interface. This is optional for agents who are unsure that they have registered their correct phone number including the country code.

Find a mission near you. There's a mission in many capital cities and some regional centres. Location Missions can take up to four hours to complete and will finish anywhere within a ten kilometre radius of the starting point. You don't need a car to complete the mission. In fact, you're better off on foot.

Level 2, online and higher missions have a whole new universe of complexity, but these rules apply to all level 1 games (this message refers).

Print out the mission page for the game you're on. It'll contain extra information that you might need to help you complete the mission.

Travel to the mission's starting point. This is a real mission in real time. You must actually be standing in the starting point before you START your game.

Again, there are higher level games where this won't apply, but for all games at level 1, YOU MUST BE AT THE SPECIFIED STARTING POINT FOR THE GAME, BEFORE YOU SEND THE START MESSAGE!

Send your mission code and the word START to Mission Control. Within moments of sending the START message you will receive the first clue for your mission. You'll notice when you get your clues, there are some numbers after the clue. Crossword style, we're showing you how many words and letters are in the answer.

For example, (3,5,3) is three words, with 3 letters, 5 letters and 3 letters in that order. The answer here would be The Black Cat.

There are around 25 clues to solve in a treasure hunt that will find you searching your city - and your mind - for the answers.
